Young Audiences of Northeast Texas uses the arts to enrich students’ lives and enhance their education. Our programs are TEKS-aligned and vary in workshops, residencies, and performances. We offer fine arts experiences and curriculum connections that integrate art for deeper learning of subject matter. Curriculum Connections
Our Curriculum Connections help enrich the understanding of academic subjects like math, history, science, literary arts, and cultural competency with art integrated learning. Our programs are TEKS aligned and vary in workshops, residencies, and performances. Learning different subjects can be difficult as students progress further along into their education, so why not make the learning fun and interactive!
Fine Arts Experiences
Our Fine Arts Experiences deepen appreciation and understanding across a diverse range of artistic disciplines, including dance, music, visual arts, theater, storytelling, and social/emotional learning. Our programs offer a rich array of workshops, residencies, and performances, providing both entertainment and educational opportunities on all art platforms.
Our Signature Programs are designed for more involvement and outreach to multiple school districts with our yearlong residencies, poetry in schools contest, arts in education awards, consultations and professional development. We strive to acknowledge, develop, and offer innovative artistic experiences across the counties of Region 7 which includes; Anderson, Angelina, Cherokee, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Nacogdoches, Panola, Rains, Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Smith, Upshur, Van Zandt, and Wood.
