Young Audiences of Northeast Texas (YANET) is committed to maintaining your confidence and trust, and accordingly maintains the following privacy policy to protect your personal information.

YANET’s Commitment to Security

Personal information can only be accessed by authorized staff and volunteers who need to have access to this data in order to be able to fulfill their given dutiesAll YANET agents and contractors with access to personal information are also bound to adhere to this policy as part of their contract with YANET.

Personal Information that YANET May Collect

YANET collects the following types of information:

a) Identification data (e.g. name, address, telephone number, mobile number, fax, email address);

(b) Profile information (e.g. age, gender, county of residence, and any information that you choose to make available us);

(c) Information about your usage of and interaction with YANET, website and marketing communications;

(d) Products and/or money received by YANET;

YANET does not collect or maintain information from those actually known to be minors, and no part of our site is structured to attract anyone under the age of 13.

How YANET May Use Personal Information

Unless you object, YANET will use your personal information for the purpose for which it was submitted such as to reply to donations and notify you of YANET events and program highlights. At certain points where personal information is collected on our site, there may be a place where you may indicate if you would like to receive information about other YANET programs and services, and about ways to support YANET. At any time you can add or remove your name from our mailing list by contacting us at scheduling@yanetexas.org.

Sharing Customer Information

Occasionally, YANET provides information about you to other companies. For example, we may contract with other companies to offer you mailings about YANET events, or provide other materials or services on our behalf. These businesses have agreed to comply with our customer confidentiality requirements and with applicable laws and regulations.

Help Us Keep Your Personal Information Accurate

If your personal information changes or you would like to review the personal information we may have on file, please email us with the new information or your review request at scheduling@yanetexas.org. Let us also know the department or YANET program that led to your submission of personal information so we may efficiently locate your information.

Computer Tracking

Our web site is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information not entered by its visitors. Our site logs do generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our site. This information is used for internal purposes by technical support staff to provide better services to the public and may also be provided to others, but again, the statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.
