Professional Development

Young Audiences of Northeast Texas offers the unique opportunity to meet with Executive Director Glenn Ballard for a tailored look at your school’s needs. Glenn holds a Master of Arts degree in Theatre and Speech Communication, and is one of the most acomplished and respected fine arts educators in the state. He has worked as a fine arts educator for 27 years and has served as Director of Fine Arts Programs and was the TAPPS Fine Arts Teacher of the Year for the state of Texas in 2024.

Having spent time as both an Educator and an Administrator, he can help you assess and evaluate programming gaps, school & artist needs, professional development, and partnership opportunities for an experience tailored to your school community.

Professional Development and Continuing Education are essential parts of a thriving faculty. Whether your needs are department-specific or full faculty, we offer a wide range of opportunities to strengthen teams through artistic experiences and to inspire how we think about education through cross-curricular arts integration.
