Bobi Jo Friesen has a BA degree in Music Education (K-12 band and vocal). She taught middle school and high school choir and elementary general music for 17 years in Iowa before moving to Texas, where she began teaching at Moore MST Middle School from 2017 to 2022 as the Head Choir Director and PreK through 5th grade music at Mozelle Brown Elementary School in Whitehouse ISD 2022 to 2025. She is currently teaching 5th and 6th grade choir at Grace Schools and Kindergarten through 6th grade general music at Grace University in Tyler, Texas.
Mrs. Friesen is a member of TMEA, TCDA, AOSA and ATPE. She is also involved with her church choir, praise team and worship band at Green Acres Baptist Church.
