Child’s Play: Setting the Stage for Strong Writing

Child’s Play: Setting the Stage for Strong Writing

When writing, students often struggle with bringing together all the necessary pieces and parts of a story. This is a challenge that can be eased by the exploration of new writing formats, such as playwriting. In this hands-on residency, students demon-strate their understanding of story elements and sequence by creating their own stories and using the magic of drama to bring them to life. Young Audiences’ Education Program Director Helen Strotman leads this energetic tour as students play their way through the world of writing.
